Building a Platform That Serves Its People

Be You partnered with AlphaSys across multiple phases of their Salesforce CRM Uplift program, spanning discovery, remediation, and delivery. This was a complex transformation of a live Salesforce platform used every day by their workforce. It wasn’t a greenfield implementation.

The engagement began with a structured discovery phase, where AlphaSys worked closely with Be You’s teams to prioritise user stories, clarify objectives, and co-develop a realistic roadmap. This upfront collaboration proved critical as the work moved into delivery, particularly given the scale of remediation required and the complexity of the broader organisational environment.

The work took place in a complex environment shaped by legacy integrations, technical debt, organisational change and evolving stakeholder needs. At times, this required rapid investigation, careful coordination and a strong focus on resolution. What stood out was how AlphaSys responded in these moments. They consistently operated with composure, transparency and a strong sense of shared accountability, working collaboratively across teams to address issues and maintain momentum.

During Phase 2 of the project, the team delivered three structured releases covering more than a dozen work packages, including data governance and clean-up, permission set redesign for a large and diverse user base, integration remediation and platform optimisation. This was achieved while keeping the system live and supporting users throughout, with no critical production incidents during this period.

The introduction of a DevOps-led delivery approach has also significantly improved Be You’s release confidence and internal capability beyond the life of the project.

Ultimately, this work matters because of who relies on it. The Salesforce platform supports Be You consultants in their work with educators and learning communities across Australia. A more stable, accurate and responsive CRM means their workforce can spend less time working around system limitations and more time supporting educators, leaders and services to help create mentally healthy environments for children and young people.
