Enhancing Efficiency and Impact with Salesforce Foundation

Outcome

The Salesforce Foundation project went live, delivering tangible results within its first week:

  • 603 payloads processed from Funraisin in near real-time.
    • 169 signups for clubs, teams, and individuals.
    • 281 donations processed.
    • 232 new person accounts created (without duplication).
  • Improved donation processing, including 19 mail/phone donations via PosiPay, with more expected from upcoming campaigns.
  • Enhanced campaign insights with four dashboards created for fundraising performance visualization.
  • Streamlined SunSmart applications, with two submissions and two in progress.
  • Three new opportunities created, including one major gift closed and two corporate donations in negotiation.

By integrating these tools and systems, Cancer Council SA has significantly enhanced its operational efficiency and capacity to deliver on its mission.

Challenge

Cancer Council SA relies on the unwavering support of fundraisers, staff, volunteers, and researchers to advance its mission across prevention, research, support, and advocacy. To streamline operations and improve engagement, the organization needed a robust digital platform that could integrate various systems, process data in real time, and provide actionable insights for decision-making. However, implementing such a solution came with challenges, including ensuring seamless data migration, managing complex workflows, and delivering a user-friendly experience for all stakeholders.

Solution
