Office 365 has a robust email spam filtering system that gets it clout from both work and home email systems. It is learning how to identify spam from the multitude of emails passing through its systems, making it more reliable than anti-spam services from other email providers.
If a legitimate email does end up scoring as spam, you can add the email address to your safe senders list. If you’re familiar Hotmail or Outlook.com mail, it is a similar process.
- Log into your Office 365 email account.
If it doesn’t open by default, go to your Mail app.
At the top right of the screen, click on your configuration wheel, and select Options.
Look down the left hand side to Mail > Accounts > Block or allow. You will see a box where you can enter an email address, and also check a box to confirm you trust any email from people in your contact list.
