Open Doors

Open Doors is a non-denominational mission supporting persecuted Christians in over 70 countries where Christianity is socially or legally discouraged or oppressed. They work with local partners to distribute Bibles and Christian literature, give discipleship training and provide practical support, such as emergency relief aid. AlphaSys is proud to be partnering with Open Doors Australia to serve persecuted Christians around the World through innovative cloud technologies including Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, and our ProntoProducts.


Open Doors Australia had many manual processes. Their old system did not integrate with their other systems. They were limited in their ability to do digital marketing.


Salesforce NPSP was implemented as a strong and stable foundation on which to build upon. Salesforce Marketing Cloud was added on top of NPSP to manage marketing and allow marketing automation. For donation payment processing, ProntoGiving, and ProntoPayments were utilised and connected to their payment gateway. ProntoPlus was configured to give Open Doors dynamic segmentation of their database. External donations are easily added to the new system via the Donation Importer tool.


The Salesforce Implementation was a real opportunity for growth for Open Doors Australia. They now have a dynamic segmentation, mobility for processing donations and less manual entry data. Also, now the communication preferences can be updated by the donors themselves and marketing automation is possible.
